¶1. Only eight people showed up at the supposed debt relief
demonstration (reftel) on June 8. They left a letter that
they wanted the Ambassador (who is outside Nigeria) to send
to the G8 Sea Island Summit, lauding progress under President
Obasanjo and calling for debt relief for Nigeria. The
"demonstrators" departed without incident.
