Poloff delivered reftel A Note Verbale and reftel B talking
points to Ghanim Al Mazroui, MFA Deputy Director of the
International Organizations Department, on August 11. Per
reftel B instructions, we strongly encouraged the UAEG to
submit its views on Resolution 58/41 to the Secretary
General. There was no immediate UAEG response, and follow-
up efforts have also produced no responses. Post will
relay any responses when we receive them.
