(SBU) EconOff delivered the joint statement (ref) from
Secretary Powell and Minister Frattini to the Dutch
SIPDIS
Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Economic Affairs on
December 3. The Netherlands will support the joint statement
at the December 10-12 Wassenaar Plenary in Vienna, according
to Sjoerd Smit, Policy Advisor at the MFA's Arms Control and
Arms Export Policy Division. Mr. Smit will attend the
plenary on behalf of the GONL.
