EVENTS SINCE LAST SITREP (all reported times are Kuwait Local, GMT plus three): -------------- Security/Military -------------- 1630 Received telephone call from DOS Task Force requesting details of the truck attack on U.S. troops at Camp Udairi in northern Kuwait by a disgruntled Egyptian guest worker. OMC-K responded to Task Force questions about the incident. -------------- Political -------------- Received telephone messages from six Kuwaiti citizens expressing support for Operation Iraqi Freedom. -------------- Consular -------------- 1727 Received telephone call from AMCIT residing in Kuwait requesting financial assistance in repatriating to Denver. AMCIT was advised of Embassy policy on this issue and was given CONS and OCS phone numbers; will call CONS tomorrow during regular working hours if situation has not been resolved. -------------- Management -------------- ¶3.
