DDG Necip Eguz in separate meetings on October 8,
underscoring the serious nature of the reported observations
and the legal prohibition on the transfer to Cyprus of
US-origin military equipment. Sislioglu said he would need
to check with TGS/J3 to verify the facts; Eguz said he
understood the seriousness of the issue and that he would
consult with TGS and get back with us.
