draft resolution October 30 to Ayman Al-Amiri, Acting Head of
the International Organizations Department of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs. Amiri responded that reform of the First
Committee was desirable and that Jordan would carefully
consider all U.S. proposals on this matter.
