(U) The State Security Court on July 15 adjourned the trial of those accused of assassinating USAID diplomat Laurence Foley until September 2 for a judicial holiday, according to local press reports. The court--which had resumed hearings on July 8 after previous postponements (see Ref)--heard opening prosecution arguements and the testimony of several security officers involved in the investigation of the defendents. When the trial resumes in September, the prosecution will continue to present its case. HALE
