On June 28, Poloff delivered reftel demarche to MFA
International Organizations Department Deputy Director
Ghanem Bin Mohammed Al-Mazroui, requesting information by
July 31 on VIP attendees at the 58th UNGA General Debate
and Special Session. Poloff was advised that UAE Minister
of Foreign Affairs Rashid Abdullah Al-Nuaimi would likely
head the UAE delegation. Post will forward confirmation of
the UAE delegation head and information on UAEG VIPs
attending the General Debate as soon as it is received.
