(C) Necip Eguz, MFA Deputy DG for Cyprus and Greece, told
poloff November 21 that the GOT's UN Mission had informed the
MFA of the UK proposal for early consideration of the UNFICYP
(reftel). Eguz did not know whether the GOT had taken a
position on the proposal, and said he would check and inform
the Embassy soonest.
