1. (S/NF) Ref A, of 20 Dec. 2002, requests that posts
establish Homeland Security Working Groups (HSWG) as either
standalone committees or as subsets of existing security
entities. Ref B is Post's response to an earlier request
along the same lines,reporting that AmEmbassy Amman had
established a HSWG at post on September 11, 2002.
2. (S/NF) The Post's HSWG is chaired by the DCM and
members include the following agency/section heads: DAO,
LEGATT, ORCA, RSO, POL, ECON, CONS, and ADMIN.
3. (S/NF) AmEmbassy Amman HSWG stands ready to provide
any required support for Homeland Security initiatives.
