¶1. (U) As per instructions reftel, we can verify the
legitimacy of the export of M60 tank components to the Jordan
Armed Forces (JAF) Royal Maintenance Corps (RMC). The
non-lethal parts/components will be used for routine
maintenance, salvage, and repair of the automotive track on
the JAF M60 tank fleet. The RMC King Hussein Main Workshops
has a tank track salvage and repair facility specifically for
this purpose.
