SUBJECT: MISSION CLEARANCE REQUEST FOR ROBERT MAGGI,
JENNIFER LANDSIDLE, WILLIAM ASTILLERO, AND TRINA SAHA
1. Mission clearance is requested for Coordinator for
Counter Piracy Robert Maggi, Attorney-Adviser Jennifer
Landsidle (L/LEI),William Astillero (Counter-piracy officer)
and Trina Saha (Multilateral Affairs Officer, IO/UNP). They
plan to attend the fifth plenary meeting of the Contact Group
on Piracy off the Coast of Somalia on January 28, and meet
with UN officials regarding counter-piracy initiatives on
January 26 and 27. Maggi, Landsidle, Astillero, and Saha
hold TS SCI clearances. USUN assistance in arranging
meetings with DPA and UNDP on the afternoon of January 26 is
requested.
2. Maggi, Landsidle, Astillero, and Saha plan to arrive in
New York on January 26 and depart on January 29th.
3. USUN Point of contact is Erin Kotheimer Tel: 212-415-4360.
The group requires assistance in obtaining UN badges. No
other mission assistance is required at this time. POC for
this information is Trina Saha (202-647-2641).
