1. The GOG Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no objection to U.S.
designation of United Airlines pursuant to Article 3 of U.S.-Ghana
Air Transport Agreement. This is contingent on United Airlines's
compliance with Ghana Civil Aviation Authority's (GCAA) technical
requirements.
2. GCAA will conduct an audit and inspection of United Airline's
Operations and Maintenance facilities and the aircraft, or type, to
be used for the flight.
3. United Airlines must complete an application for Foreign Air
Operator Approval and submit ground handling and security
arrangements, including an airline security manual for United's
operations at Kotoka International Airport (ACC). Upon successful
completion of the above steps, United Airlines will be issued a
validation for Foreign Air Operator Approval.
4. United seeks to commence flight service between Lagos, Nigeria
(LOS),Accra, Ghana (ACC) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) on
May 2, 2010.
