Depasqualie, and spoke on November 4 to MFA Asia (NEA)
Director Patrick Mifsud.
2. (C) Mifsud advised that Malta expected to follow a
collective EU position on the Goldstone Report and proposed
resolution, which he indicated was in the process of being
coordinated. When pressed as to whether he could indicate
what the outlines of the EU position might be, or to share
the GOM's general thoughts regarding the report or the
proposed UNGA resolution, he indicated he had no further
information to provide, but would remain engaged in
discussions on the issue.
3. (SBU) Post will report any additional information septel.
