1. (U) This cable supercedes ref A, providing additional data
for the subject of paragraph 26.


2. (SBU) Post requests the Department's assistance in vetting,
pursuant to the Leahy Amendment and the Foreign Assistance Act,
the following 24 Libyan candidates for a DS/ATA-sponsored Border
Enforcement Training to be held in Tripoli, Libya March 9-20
(details ref B). POL/ECON, RSO, CONS and DAO conducted a search
of locally-maintained files and found no derogatory information.
Results from the CLASS database that could not be ruled out at
post have been included after each name. Post has requested
full date-of-birth information but has not yet obtained it.
