1. Embassy delivered diplomatic note and attachment per ref B to
Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding case 820 December 16,
2008 and received GOJ note number 861/DNS-IN in reply.
2. The text of the GOJ note is exactly the same as the previously
used standard text, ref A, except for the specification of number
and date above.
3. Certified copies of the U.S. note and attachment, and original of
the GOJ DNS-IN number, were pouched to the Department (ISN/NESS -
Robin DeLaBarre) on March 2, 2009 under registry no. 5723924.
