Embassy Tel Aviv delivered reftel demarche to the GOI on
April 16. MFA International Organizations and Human Rights
Department Director Simona Halperin received the demarche,
and gave assurances that the GOI would support the U.S.
candidacy. Halperin also noted previously stated Israeli
concerns about the Human Rights Council and delivered a non
paper summarizing those concerns. Post emailed the non paper
to DRL/MLGA and NEA/IPA.
