ODC-COORDINATED IMET GENERAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE

1. (SBU) The Department of State reviewed its files and found that,
to date, it possesses no credible information of gross violations of
human rights committed by the individual identified below. This
individual is a candidate for participation in an ODC-coordinated
IMET-funded training. This training includes attendance at the
General English Language Course at the Lackland Air Force Base
Defense Language Institute English Language Center in Texas and the
Fort Benning Infantry Basic Officer Leadership Course and Ranger
School at the United States Army Infantry School in Georgia. These
courses run from January 31, 2009 through October 23, 2009. The
approximate U.S. funding for this series of events is $40,000.00.
