1. (U) Washington concurs with Mission recommendation at
Reference A to support a two-year extension for Mr. Erling
Wang as chairman of the NATO Civil and Military Budget
Committees. Should consensus form around limiting an
extension for Wang to only one year, USNATO is instructed to
join consensus. If consensus should form around holding a
new election or other course of action, Mission is instructed
to seek further guidance from Washington.
