KLEILAT DELISTING REQUEST
REF: SAC.41/2009/COMM.42
1. This is an action request. USUN is requested to lift the
USG hold on the Focal Point delisting request for Ali
Kleilat, who was listed by the UN Security Council Committee
established pursuant to resolution 1521 (2003) concerning
Liberia. Kleilat should not remain subject to the travel ban
imposed by paragraph 4 of UN Security Council resolution 1521
(2003) or the asset freeze imposed by para 1 of resolution
1532 (2004). The United States considers it important for
the credibility of sanctions overall to keep the lists up to
date.
