Post recieved diplomatic note No. 6419 from the Dominican
Republic foreign ministry, dated 9/2, which announced the
Dominican Republic's accession to the Hague Convention
Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public
Documents on 8/30. A copy has been pouched to WHA/CAR. Post
consular officers have already been in contact with Consular
Affairs and their Dominican counterparts on this issue.
