On March 30, Post delivered reftel demarche to Selby Pillay,
Director General of the Multilateral Affairs Division of the
Seychelles Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pillay supported all USG
points except a deadline for elections. He added that Seychelles
"condemns the undemocratic act of Ravalomanana's removal from
power," saying this is the message that will be communicated at
upcoming SADC meetings. Pillay said FORMIN Patrick Pillay will be
the Seychellois representative in upcoming SADC meetings, and that
President James Michel may attend a mid-August summit.
