THE GOLDSTONE REPORT

(SBU) On September 23, Pol/Mil Officer delivered reftel
demarche to Mr. Der Kogda, Director of Multilateral Affairs
at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pol/Mil officer explained
that the U.S. continues to review Justice Goldstone's lengthy
report and that we have serious concerns with the report's
unbalanced focus on Israel, its sweeping factual and legal
conclusions, and many of the recommendations. Kogda said he
would share our concerns with the leadership of the Burkinabe
Foreign Ministry as well as its Mission in New York.
