(SBU) On March 19, Pol/Mil Officer delivered reftel demarche
to Mr. Der Kogda, Director of Multilateral Affairs at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pol/Mil officer explained that
the USG was seeking a commitment by Burkina Faso to make a
public statement in support of the African Union's Mission in
Somalia, particularly during the March 20 debate at the UNSC.
Kogda said he would share the information with the Burkinabe
Mission in New York.
