1. (SBU) Department of Foreign Affairs and International
Trade (DFAIT) Summit of the Americas Coordinator Paul
Williams on April 9 confirmed that Prime Minister Stephen
Harper will lead Canada's delegation, accompanied by Foreign
Minister Lawrence Cannon. He expects the delegation also to
include:
-- OAS Ambassador (and National Summit Coordinator) Graeme
Clark
-- DFAIT Assistant Deputy Minister for Latin America and the
Caribbean Alexandra Bugailiskis
-- DFAIT Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean
James Lambert
-- DFAIT Director for South America and Inter-American
Affairs Heidi Kutz
-- Canadian High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago Karen

2. (SBU) Several analysts from the Privy Council Office and
the Prime Minister's Office will likely join the delegation,
making the total size of the official party between 10 and 15
delegates.

meetings in Port of Spain is Canadian High Commission officer
Matthew Loken, according to Williams.
