1. Reftel B requests post conduct a Blue Lantern check on the
bona fides of end-user Jaktdepotet and states that the
company has never been the subject to a Blue Lantern check.
In March 2007 post conducted a Blue Lantern check (reftel A)
on this same company and concluded that it was a well
established company with the proper licenses and a good
history of cooperation with police. We have confirmed the
information in the previous Blue Lantern check. No firearms
are sold outside ofNorway. The company has been in business
since 002. Idar Holm remains the principle officer and te
company is familiar with U.S. regulations regading the
re-xport or re-transfer of U.S. origindefense articles.
2. Police officials confirmedthat Jaktedepotet carries all
required permits t import and sell firearms. Jaktedepotet
is a well-regarded company with a good history of cooperation
with police.
