1. Minister of the Economy and Finance Ali Mahamane Lamine Zeine,
Niger's Governor to the IMF and World Bank, advised post on May 19
that the Government of Niger had cast an affirmative vote on May 7
for the Republic of Kosovo to accede to the IBRD (World Bank),
International Development Association (IDA),and International
Finance Corporation (IFC). This response addresses Ref A.
2. Post advised earlier (in Ref B) that the GON had voted for Kosovo
to accede to the IMF. DCM had delivered subject demarche (Refs C
and D) to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation on April
14.
