1. During a lunch meeting on March 13, Permanent Secretary Dr.
Patricia Rodgers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the CCOB, provided
information copies to Charge of the following demarches the
Permanent Mission of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the
Organization of American States delivered to the Permanent Missions
to the Organization of American States.

2. The Bahamas Permanent Mission to the OAS forwarded Diplomatic
Note No. 184/08, dated 9 September, 2008, to the Permanent Mission
of the United States to the OAS requesting support of The Bahamas'
candidature to the United Nations Economic and Social Council
(ECOSOC).

3. The Permanent Mission of The Bahamas to the United Nations
forwarded Diplomatic Note No. 273/08 dated 20 November, 2008, to the
Permanent Mission of the United States requesting support for The
Bahamas' candidature to the United Nations Commission on Sustainable
Development (CSD)

4. The Bahamas High Commission, London, requested the support of
the United States for The Bahamas' candidature for re-election to
"Category C" of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) via
Diplomatic Note. 10/09 dated 25 February, 2009.

UNESCO and is eligible to vote in support of the candidature of Dr.
