1. We request the Department's assistance in screening the
following individual who has been nominated for USG-funded
training, pursuant to the Leahy Act and the Foreign
Assistance Act.
2. The following individual will attend the Illicit
Activities Conference in Miami, Florida from August 17 - 20,
2009. The name is listed with the surname first, followed by
DOB:

3. As the U.S. Embassy Managua Leahy vetting coordinating
office, we certify that Post has completed its own local
vetting and found no credible evidence of gross violations of
human rights.
4. In order to prepare for the participant's travel, we
appreciate the Department's response by August 1, 2009.
