1. (SBU) The UK will provide an additional GBP 11.5 million
(approximately USD 19 million) in budget support to the
Palestinian Authority, Alice Mann, Deputy Head (London)
Palestinian Program at the Department for International
Development told ECOUNS on December 4. The money will be
disbursed this month to the World Bank's Trust Fund and then
on to the PA. DFID and FCO are preparing the official
response from Foreign Secretary Miliband to the letter from
Secretary of State Clinton (ref c).
