REGARDING KOSOVO'S INDEPENDENCE

1.(SBU) In the course of a private meeting on the afternoon of April
1, the Under Secretary for Multilateral Affairs in the Government of
Jamaica (GoJ)'s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade
(MFAFT),Ambassador Vilma McNish, told EmbOff that Jamaica did not
intend to file a brief regarding Kosovo's independence with the
International Criminal Court (ICJ).
2.(SBU) Post will report any further information which comes to our
attention.
