The Military Group at Embassy Guatemala has identified the following
individuals to participate on Basic and Intermediate Small Boat
Navigation Course, the Basic Engine and Generator Maintenance and
Repair Course and the Maritime Interdiction Operations Course,
taught by the Expeditionary Training Command from July 6 to August
28, 2009 at the Pacific Navy Command and the Caribbean Navy Command.
Embassy conducted its own review and found no credible information
that the individuals below have been involved in gross human rights
violations. Please conduct human rights vetting and advise of any
results by July 1, 2009.
