1. (SBU) On October 27, poloff delivered talking points and
discussed U.S. Third Committee priorities contained in reftel
to MFA Acting Department Head Anders Ornemark, Department of
Global Security and Economy. Ornemark indicated general
overall agreement with the priorities, particularly the
country-specific resolutions concerning Iran and Burma, but
said more time was needed for internal discussion of the
other issues. Ornemark indicated decisions would be reached
expeditiously and instructions would likely be sent to
Denmark's UN Mission to coordinate directly with our Mission
in New York.
