1. (SBU) On October 27, poloff delivered talking points and
CV of AmCit ICSC nominee Lucretia F. Myers to MFA Acting
Department Head Anders Ornemark, Department of Global
Security and Economy. The discussion reiterated the
importance we attach to the candidacy of Ms. Myers, a message
that was initially delivered to the MFA by Embassy Copenhagen
on June 2, 2009 (reftel B). Ornemark stated he was not
familiar with the specific issue, but indicated he would
bring it immediately to the attention of a decision-making
authority. Ornemark also indicated he was aware of the
approaching November 6 ICSC election date, and would convey
to us MFA's decision as soon as practicable.
