(SBU) The most appropriate Danish minister to receive reftel
demarche is Development Cooperation Minister Ulla Toernaes,
who is staffed by MFA. The other minister staffed by MFA, FM
Per Stig Moeller, is out of the country. Despite repeated
attempts to meet this week, the soonest Toernaes can receive
the Ambassador is October 29. In light of reftel's request
for a response by October 23, we delivered the package to the
Head of MFA's Americas Department, Morten Lauridsen, on
October 22. Lauridsen undertook to convey the package to the
Minister and make clear that the Ambassador will want to
discuss it at next week's meeting.
