1. Post delivered reftel demarche to Ambassador Aruni
Wijaywardena, Director General of the UN and Multilateral
Affairs office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on June 29.
Ambassador Wijaywardena said she would see that the
information is disbursed among the various appropriate
agencies of the GSL.
2. Reftel demarche was sent to the office of the Director of
the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Central Bank of Sri
Lanka. FIU confirmed that they received the demarche, but
post has not yet received a response. Post will advise of
any substantive response.
