(SBU) On March 25, AusAID official reported to Poloff that
Australia was committing a combined total of AUD$3 million
(USD 2.1 million) to fund both the appeal from the UNOCHA and
the appeal from the International Committee of the Red Cross
for the budget extension of the Humanitarian Response Plan
for Pakistan's internally displaced persons. He noted the
GOA did not plan to announce the contribution until o/a March
27.
