On March 6, MFA confirmed with Post that Hungarian Foreign
Ministry State Secretary, Laszlo Varkonyi, pledged roughly
$200,000 in medical aid for the Gaza Strip during the March 2
conference. Hungary plans to provide expertise, medical
equipment and a doctor, if needed, for a Palestinian hospital
to support the rehabilitation of wounded children. There is
no designated timeline of when the support will reach Gaza.
