(U) Post was able to establish the bona fides of
Sportsimports, however, during the investigation Post was
informed by the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) that the
company,s fire arms import license had been revoked due to
discrepancies concerning previous arms purchases. The RBPF
informed the ARSO that the weapons listed for import on the
previously granted license were not the same as the weapons
actually imported. The RBPF is scheduled to meet with the
management of Sportsimports later this month to discuss the
matter. If the company is cleared of any malfeasances Post
will inform the Blue Lantern Coordinator via email.
