On October 28, PolOff delivered reftel points seeking
Jordanian support for U.S. priorities in the General Assembly
Third Committee session to Dr. Manal Mazahreh of the Foreign
Ministry's Human Rights Department. Mazahreh did not
indicate how Jordan would vote on each human rights
resolution but stated reftel points would be discussed with
the Jordanian Mission to the UN. Mazareh asked for a
follow-up meeting to discuss the matter further and Post will
report septel any substantive responses to specific
resolutions.
