1. Ref email requested that post conduct a post-shipment
verification for Antennas and parts for Aircraft Radar and
direction finding related equipment exported as No License Required
by Trimble Navigation LTD, Sunnyvale, CA.
2. On December 8, 2009 Export Control Officer met with a Mr. M.
Biju and later with Mr. Ali Moidu, Logistics officers for Dubai
Technologies at their Deira, Dubai offices. Biju and Moidu advised
that Dubai Technologies specializes in vehicle tracking and
automated transportation management systems (www.dt.ae). Moidu
explained that the items relating to this transaction were not
aircraft related whatsoever since Dubai Technologies does no
aircraft related business. These items were actually Mini-antenna
assemblies for the Trimble 300 GPS system used for Taxi Dispatch
tracking by Vinyas Innovative Technologies in Mysore, India. Moidu
provided ECO relevant documentation relating to this transaction.
3. Post considers Dubai Technologies to be a reliable recipient of
U.S. origin items for this transaction.
