(U) Polchief discussed reftel points October 10 with Andreas
Launer, MFA unit chief for IAEA, CTBTO Prep Com, and NPT.
Launer said Ines R. Triay appeared to be a strong candidate
for the position, and that he would pass her biographic
information to colleagues. He said he had not heard about
any other candidates for the position, and that the GOA had
not yet determined whom it would support.
