1. (SBU) The Croatian Mission has informed USNATO that PM
Sanader will head Croatia's delegation to NATO on January 16
to discuss its NATO Membership Action Plan (MAP) Report with
Allied PermReps. That discussion will conclude Croatia's
sixth MAP cycle, and is the last scheduled meeting between
NATO PermReps and Croatian representatives before the April
NATO Summit in Bucharest. The MAP progress report (REF) was
released to Croatia on January 9 and e-mailed to Embassy
Zagreb and Department.
2. (SBU) USNATO requests guidance for the discussion,
including points to raise with PM Sanader, no later than
Brussels COB Monday, January 14, to prepare for the meeting.
