1. (C) The Ambassador spoke with the Foreign Minister's Chief of
Staff Mahmoud Khemiri on November 12 to underscore the
importance the United States attaches to the resolution on
Iran, as well as the resolutions on Burma and North Korea.
The Ambassador went through US views in detail with Khemiri.
Khemiri took note of our position and promised to convey the
information to the Foreign Minister. Post also delivered
reftel demarche via diplomatic note to the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs on November 10.
