With respect to your nonpaper on North Korean attempt to
possibly purchase items with missile applications, we
sincerely appreciate your information and would like to share
with you the current status of the measures we have taken so
far regarding this paper as following:
A. No exports of rotary encoders or asbestos sheets by
SECOLO Corporation were detected since April 2008. We have
not received any export license applications regarding the
export of above mentioned times by the company either.
B. Any export attempts by SECOLO Corporation have been under
particularly strict observation of the Customs, which follows
METI's request.
We would be grateful if that information is useful to you.
We would continuously cooperate in this matter with you, and
would welcome any further input.
