1. Per reftels A & B, Poloff spoke with Shalva Burdaurli,
Head of the Division of Security Policy at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs about Georgian implementation of the travel
ban and travel vigilance requirements contained in UNSCRs
1737, 1747 and 1803. Burdaurli said that Georgian government
is vigilant in ensuring that persons named on the list do not
travel to or through Georgia.


2. In a follow-up to ref. C, Burdaurli said that the
Georgian government has sent several reports on Georgian
implementation of UNSCRs 1737, 1747 and 1803 to the UN and
has provided the relevant ministries and institutions,
including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of
Justice, the Ministry of Defense, and the National Bank of
Georgia, all of the lists of prohibited dual-use items.
