1. (SBU) On August 5, Uzbekistan's Ministry of Foreign
Affairs (MFA) Desk Chief Ismat Fayzullaev told POLOFF that
Uzbekistan will take part in the 63rd United Nations General
Assembly General Debate, but not all participants have been
identified. Fayzullaev indicated that mid-level personnel
from the United Nations Department of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs will participate, but Foreign Minister Norov is still
considering who will represent the Government of Uzbekistan.
