VISIT
1. Special Envoy (S/E) to the Organization of the Islamic
Conference (OIC) Sada Cumber wishes to express his sincere
appreciation for the efforts and support of the American and
Locally Employed Staff at Embassy Dhaka during his June 2-5
visit.
2. S/E Cumber deeply appreciates the efforts of the Embassy
staff in facilitating his meetings with Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Information and
Communications Technology. He was privileged to be able to
interact with students and faculty at the Islamic University
of Technology and to learn about the imams' participation in
USAID's Leaders of Influence program. He is grateful for the
opportunity to engage in candid and productive dialogue at
the think tank roundtable and at the reception hosted by the
Ambassador. In this regard, S/E Cumber would like to thank
in particular Heather Variava for her assistance in arranging
and executing this visit. Thanks to the entire Embassy, it
was a highly successful trip.
