1. Special Envoy (SE) to the Organization of the Islamic
Conference (OIC) Sada Cumber wishes to express his sincere
appreciation for the efforts and support of the American
Direct Hire and Locally Employed Staff at Embassy Manama
during his April 26-27 visit to Bahrain.


2. SE Cumber would like to thank the Embassy staff for
facilitating his meeting with the MFA Secretary for
International Cooperation Ahmed Haddad. Additionally he
would like to thank the staff for arranging the luncheon with
prominent Bahrainis, the tour of the Beit al-Quran and the
roundtable with local press. SE Cumber would like to
acknowledge in particular Steve Butler for his strong efforts
and great guidance. Thanks to the entire Embassy community,
it was a highly successful visit.
