SE CUMBER,S VISIT
1. Special Envoy (SE) to the Organization of the Islamic
Conference (OIC) Sada Cumber wishes to express his strong
appreciation to all American Direct Hire and Locally Employed
Staff at Consulate General Jeddah. He received extraordinary
support during his April 24-25 visit to Jeddah to meet with
the Secretary General of the OIC and other high level OIC
officials.
2. SE Cumber appreciates the efforts of the staff in
facilitating his meetings with the OIC officials as well as a
visit to the King Abdullah University for Science and
Technology. He would like to personally thank Anne Slack and
Acting Consul General CB Toney for their assistance in
arranging these meetings and for their continued guidance.
3. This initial discussion of the U.S.-OIC relationship and
the proposed MOU proved productive. In this regard, we look
forward to working with Consulate General Jeddah again soon.
